Isabelle Roig (MA) is a multimedia artist and writer based in St. Louis, MO.

Roig studied Film & Media and Writing at Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed her MA in 2024 and BA in 2021. While an avid student and practitioner of digital media and commercial + editorial photography, Roig has drawn and painted since her childhood in the Ozarks.

After completing her graduate education, she began drawing escapist, fantastical, and abstract landscapes, instruments, and beings. This happened in tandem with a deep immersion into fictional and fantasy literature + mythology, to which Roig attributes as her inspirations.

Roig’s illustrations navigate her own processing and experiencing of pure, indulgent fiction, and she imbues her fascination with storytelling into her artistic practice. She is also inspired by personal + familial lore, and accepts commissions to either reimagine or create new family crests.
